I will tell you what happened to me when I first started off and needed web hosting I looked on the internet too many to choose from and I figured I would probably be able to get it cheaper on ebay. I was right . Chuffed to bits only paid £9 for a year .What a bargain or so I thought. When I went to ftp my website up to the hosting account I ran into a few problems. So I got in touch with the seller and asked them if they could solve the problem or at least point me in the right direction. No could do he only sold it and had no technical knowledge at all about the hosting. Anyway after about 10 days and a lot of paracetomol I eventually managed to solve the problem and upload my website. When I wanted to add another website that is when I ran into the 2nd problem I obviously had only taken notice of the price and not the fact there was no technical support or that you could only host 1 domain on it. So what that means is I would have to pay another £9 for every website I set up. Well seen as I was on the road to global domination watch out google and microsoft that was no good to me. So this time when I went looking for hosting I knew I needed a hosting account with 24/7 technical support and the ability to host multiple domains. Found 1 easy enough signed up paid my £36 for the year and away I went. As always happens at the start you run into a few problems and I did. No worries drop technical support an email and the problem will be sorted. Or would it about 16 hours later I received a very poor response.It had not even come close to answering my question and I am not some weird techie using lots of big words.So I emailed them back wondering why they had not answered my question fully and it had taken 16 hours considering they have 24/7 technical support. Well guess what the next day an email arrived to say the 24/7 technical support was in fact a page of frequently asked questions and the reason why it had taken 16 hours was .This person was in America and he only checked his emails first thing on a morning. So it could have been worse up to 24 hours. Luckily for me I needed a program called curl running on the hosting site which they had advertised but did not actually have when push came to shove so over a period of a few days I managed to get a refund on my money. But it was all stress and had put back my global domination by another week. So having made 2 mistakes now I decided my best bet was to really really research this hosting problem .Well I trawled through more forums than I can remember and took note of what people had to say about their hosting providers good and bad. One firm came out head and shoulders above the rest. Problem solved Ive finally got my answer Untill I went to the website and noticed it was in America oh no not again those 16 hour emails came flooding back to me. What I did notice was they had a live chat support system .So I thought I would give it a go .Well I was blown away when after about 2 minutes I got a reply to say Hi Im Chloe how can I help ? So i explained what had gone on in the past with curl and only being able to host 1 domain . She answered every question I posted in detail and within a minute or so. Needless to say I have been with them ever since and have had  no problems at all. Any querie is dealt with in minutes and they stay on until you are happy I can not praise this firm enough 10 out of 10  so save yourself a lot of bother and dont buy from ebay or any 1 man bands
